at the library i found this book about the "underbelly" of paris in the 1930's. they had a couple of pages of an underground lesbian bar with these beautiful shots of women in suits.












personally this is my idea of drag. all of the kings i've seen (aside from one who isn't from toronto) tend to go for what looks like backstreet boy chic.

those are from Brassai's book, Secret Paris of the 1930's. I have his book, he practically invented night time photography. Very nice.
